OSIS (Object Systematics Information System) is an attempt to provide the
basic classes and tools for systematics software under the GNU General Public
License. It consists of an high-level objet-oriented data model, implemented
in java and XML, and a visual editing environment.

The 2001 meeting of TDWG will be held in Sydney, Australia from
the 9th to 11th November, 2001. It will form part of the "Biodiversity
Knowledgement Management Forum" - a series of meetings
(Species 2000, HISCOM, IOPI, SPP) mainly happening in and
around Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney then moving on to
Canberra.
