This is useful for sorting by year etc. So +1

Note the datatype rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#gYear"

        From http://lod.taxonconcept.org/ses/v6n7p.html RDF
    <txn:yearDescribed rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#gYear

    <!-- http://lod.taxonconcept.org/ontology/txn.owl#yearDescribed -->

    <owl:DatatypeProperty rdf:about="
        <rdfs:label rdf:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#gYear
        <rdfs:comment>The year that the species was originally
        <rdfs:isDefinedBy rdf:resource="
        <rdfs:range rdf:resource="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#gYear"/>
