Summary of TCS/Taxon Concept/Taxon Name ontology discussion which moved to the RDF TG mailing list
A thread which began on this list as "Re: [tdwg-tag] Any TCS users with experiences to report?" was continued on the TDWG RDF Task Group email list. The thread may have finally burned itself out, so if you are interested in reading a summary of the series of posts without the gory details, you can find it at http://code.google.com/p/tdwg-rdf/wiki/TCSthread . The thread discussed the utility of several parts of the TDWG Ontology as a means for modeling taxon concepts and taxon names as RDF. I will continue to summarize any additional posts that may go out to that list.
