[TDWG-MIDS] TDWG MIDS Task Group - Thursday 7th September - Apologies

Dear all

Many apologies for the short notice, but I will not be able to join the TDWG MIDS task group meeting tomorrow.

We can keep the meeting link open, but we also thought of sending through some 'homework' if anyone has some time to consider.

There is a list of identifiers for MIDS 3 that has been identified so far (https://github.com/tdwg/mids/issues/68)

We would ask people to look at these potential elements:


*          Institution identifier - MIDS Element - InstitutionID #57<https://github.com/tdwg/mids/issues/57>

*          Collector(s) identifer(s) - CollectorID #79<https://github.com/tdwg/mids/issues/79>

*          Determiner(s) identifier(s) - DeterminerID #80<https://github.com/tdwg/mids/issues/80>

*          Geographical locality identifier(s) - GeographicalLocalityID #81<https://github.com/tdwg/mids/issues/81>

*          Taxon name identifier(s) - TaxonNameID #82<https://github.com/tdwg/mids/issues/82>

*          Licence identifier - LicenseID #83<https://github.com/tdwg/mids/issues/83>

and add the following information for each of them:


  *   Definition
  *   Purpose
  *   Mapping
  *   Recommendations

You can also consider the separation of the identifier and the resolver for each of these.

Please feel free to add comments into each of these Information Element issues (the links should take you to the right place for each of these in the GitHub).
