This is just a reminder for the TDWG MIDS Task Group meeting today. I've also attached the calendar event in case you want to add it to your calendar. Let me know if that doesn't work for you.

We uploaded a new version of the Specification to the GitHub here: https://github.com/tdwg/mids/blob/working-draft/current-draft%20/MIDS-definition-v0.17-13Jul2023.md



The development version is continuing to be updated here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mc9sf8X8l8iSc-GO2ZFmgCoOiJNxKRhYeGq5OFmsfw8/edit and the changes will be transferred into the GitHub version. We will aim to agree a cut-off date to close changes for this version of the Specification. Please make changes using Suggestions so that we can transfer them into the GitHub version. Please remember to add their name as a contributor (along with ORCID, Institution and e-mail) in the Googledoc here if you want to be included as an author.



We will continue the mapping of the terms and making some more progress with MIDS 3. We will also look at the plans for the presentation at TDWG 2023.
