Hi Steve,

Wouldn't a basic (and much needed) use case simply be discovery?

It's great to have this metadata (as Morphbank showed/shows) for being 
able to find images that have certain features / attributes in common.

Say, I'd like to use AI to compare wing venation, or AI to compare 
variation in head shape for a particular group. Being able to search by 
subjectPart and subjectOrientation allows me to find images of interest 
much more efficiently.

One bit that strikes me is that to do this we also need to know what 
taxonomic group the images are from. Hopefully, this is shared either in 
AC, or in the accompanying DwC Occurrence file in the higher 
classification fields...

PS Shall I add this use case to your list using your form? Or do you 
feel it's sufficiently covered in what you have already? I would add 
that we (at iDigBio) often get very little media metadata -- it makes 
discovery of relevant objects extremely difficult.
