Surely this is not right. The "connecting term" denoting the rank
is not part of the name. However, its use is mandatory.

In higher ranks a similar problem may occur, where a non-standard
termination is used or where a name may be used in more than one
rank. Anyway, it never hurts to have a rank-indicating term for
names in higher ranks, for those users who are not familiar with the
standard terminations.
