A fantastic opportunity has arisen to lead and manage an expert team within the Biodiversity Informatics and Spatial Analysis Department; in the Science Directorate, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual keen to build a strong research group and develop and deliver excellence in geospatial and data analysis to support science at Kew. The role will best suit an individual who has experience of leading a team and who can use their expertise to help drive science at Kew. The post holder is responsible for their own grant-funded research project(s) within a discrete area of a wider research programme and will manage a small team responsible for providing spatial analysis and modelling services to support science.
