I think 'client' is the word. It is certainly what I am interested in focusing on.

Regarding priorities, what about rolling out some simple client and software tools. Roger's server and my LSID tester could combined into a set of PHP classes, for example. The PHP implementations are much easier to deploy than the Java (gack) or Perl software.
