Dear metadata roundtable members,
Tomorrow, July 25th, Richard Urban will be leading MDRT discussion on draft standard for International Standard Collection Identifiers (ISCI), which will establish a unique identifier for each archival collection and fond. The meeting will take place from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at ISRL Commons on the third floor of GSLIS building.
The continuation of the DCMI abstract model discussion started last week (audio available at http://waterfall.lis.uiuc.edu/dl/classes/ mdrt/metadataRoundtable071807.ram)is tentatively scheduled for the second half of August, once everyone is back from summer vacations.
