Deal all,
This is just to let you know that there's a new tool to help checking TAPIR providers in terms of compatibility with the protocol:
http://tapirtester.dev.tdwg.org/
If you don't know any TAPIR endpoint, you can try with this one:
http://test.cria.org.br/tapirlink/tapir.php/test
TapirTester is open source and can be downloaded with a subversion client. The address for checking out is:
https://digir.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/digir/tapirtester/trunk/
If you get the software, you'll find instructions about how to install it and how to write new test suites.
Besides the general test suite, there will soon be another one for full TAPIR providers that have mapped a specific database using DarwinCore concepts.
By the way, anyone willing to improve the existing tests or write new test suites is welcome. Please let me know if you have any ideas or if you find any issues.
Best Regards, -- Renato
