We are making progress with MIDS and we can provide a short update on work done. We are also looking forwards to plan the work still to be completed in preparation for MIDS to go to review as part of the ratification process.

Work done:
* MIDS levels 0-3 defined * MIDS Information Elements for Levels 0-3 defined * SSSOM mapping for existing DWC and ABCD terms drafted * MIDS Calculator developed - new version ready for testing https://github.com/AgentschapPlantentuinMeise/MIDSCalculator/tree/format_sup... * MIDS checker developed * MIDS incorporated into DiSSCo * Draft website platform initiated https://dev.mids.dissco.tech/ * Draft wiki platform initiated https://github.com/tdwg/mids/wiki
Next Milestones:
* GitHub Website version 1.0 ready for upload to TDWG platform * Github Wiki Version 1.0 draft complete * Next release of the MIDS Calculator to include ability to analyse any file in DWC Archive format * Next release of the MIDS Checker working for all disciplines * Mapping for new Geo DWC terms complete
We also need to focus on some key topics to agree some MIDS specification functionality and maintenance. We will send round a Doodle poll to decide on dates for these topics.
