Yes, we are VERY interested in absence use cases, especially to know if it is more challenging in terms of diversity than we think it is, so some comparative work would be quite useful.

The OBIS community would like to create an absence use case for consideration of its application for the new GBIF data model. Humboldt working group comes to my mind when it is about absence, I wonder if anyone would like to join us in working
