Hi all,
I spent time this weekend working on scripts to do more automation on generating documents metadata, with the end result being an updated version of the list of terms doc. It now includes the abstract and “Use of Terms” section written by Yani with Rob’s suggested edits. There’s a bit of cosmetic work I still want to do there, but otherwise I think that one is done.
I also got the isLeastSpecificTargetCategoryQuantityInclusive Guidelines document set up to pull document and author metadata in from the YAML configuration files. See https://tdwg.github.io/hc/inclusive/ . So I think that one is ready now.
I haven’t regenerated the Quick Reference Guide yet. Something is going on with it and I haven’t figured out what. Too late tonight for me to face up to that.
From below, it sounds like Yani has signed off on the implementation report.
The main thing that I know of that is still blocking us is the final sign-off on the hierarchy document https://docs.google.com/document/d/1r_XMEgB7p7OI7a5Ouq6G9oa7LmQFPcFhZZCLD9gW... . I have not started turning it into Markdown yet because I haven’t gotten the word that it is actually done. When I do, I can do the conversion to Markdown, which will take a bit of time because of the tables and images.
I don’t remember who was doing the final go-over on the hierarchy doc, but whomever has the final sign-off should let me know when I can start.
Steve

Learn why this is importanthttps://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification Thank you so much Kate! I responded to your comments in the text, I agree and one of the examples was not entirely correct so I changed it. I also included the bycatch terms and made a few other changes. All changes are tracked so If somebody else revises the doc and agrees please accept them.
On my end, the Implementation report is ready!
Thanks again

I've completed my review of the Implementation Reporthttps://docs.google.com/document/d/1RFdSHoyzWCQk9qO6uup4xQjWOMzPyBb-A0mcjj98hbk/edit. I think I've resolved all the major issues but would be grateful for others to have a look to ensure I didn't miss anything glaring.
I have one outstanding question in 'Properties of Hierarchical Events' in the 'Unresolved Issues/Remaining Challenges Section': Is there a reason for using 3 different terms in the examples? It works, but it's just not as easy to read as using a single term to make the case (e.g., targetTaxonomicScope would work for all 3 points).
