On behalf of the ChronometricAge Extension Task Group, it is with great pleasure and a sigh of relief to announce the finalization of the ChronometricAge Extension to Darwin Core and closure of the Task Group. Everything, including the normative term list document ( https://tdwg.github.io/chrono/list/), Quick Reference Guide ( https://tdwg.github.io/chrono/terms/), and GBIF extension (

https://tools.gbif.org/dwca-validator/extension.do?id=http://rs.tdwg.org/chr... ) is now in production. The latter is available for immediate use in Darwin Core Archives, and can be mapped in any instance of the Integrated Publishing Toolkit that is enabled to use the extension.
