[tdwg-ncd] Re: Terminology version 2

Hallo all, apologies, my previous email about separating curators and collectors was based on a misunderstanding. I had problems opening the latest RDF version of the NCD schema (a not-yet-complete v0.8) in my XML editor. The trick is to open it online using the url http://rs.tdwg.org/ncd/dev/ncd.xsd The collector details can be given using the property collectorNameCoverage, they won't be added as true persons in the database. Markus, for contact details I see only the property N for name. If I don't overlook anything, this seems oversimplified? A previous version of the schema included GivenNames, Surname, AdditionalNames, NamePrefix, NameSuffix. I will keep these in the database for the moment. Regards, Ruud
