OFFICIAL

Hi Everyone,

I second Andrea’s fabulous suggestion!

Unfortunately, I am also under an employment dark cloud with my role finishing in February 2027, and I think it is unlikely that I will have leave to travel to Canada (although never say never), but I strongly agree that this would be a really useful and engaging session at the conference.

I am happy to commence an abstract around the theme of centralisation and access to pertinent vocabularies.   Perhaps just a session inviting people to showcase methods and repositories would be a sufficient invitation for the session, with a preamble about the need for greater access and collaboration on these, especially for biologists who aren’t necessarily data specialists.

Thoughts?

Best wishes,
Kathryn

Subject: [tdwg-vocab] Session proposal for Living Data 2027?

You don't often get email from andrea.tarallo@cnr.it. Learn why this is important
Hi all,
after the lively and interesting discussion we had at the TDWG Unconference last month, I was wondering if we should propose a session at Living Data 2027. My contract will end in Jan 2027, with any possibilities of renewal at the moment, so I can't guarantee my participation in Canada, but I'm happy to help draft the session abstract.
Best wishes everyone,
Andrea
