• Just bring along a Darwin Core Archive or a Biocase ABCD XML archive file to try out the MIDS Calculator Tool (https://github.com/AgentschapPlantentuinMeise/MIDSCalculator).
• There may be time to download a file from GBIF at the working session if it's not too large, but we advise requesting the download beforehand to be safe.
• Biocase files take longer to run so you may want to bring a smaller dataset if tryingthis option.
• An installer for Windows can be found here. The tool is an RShiny app and can also be run by executing the code in the app.R file.
  
• You can also use the MIDS Checker for existing GBIF Datasets (https://naturalhistorymuseum.github.io/gamc/).
