Hi All,
Ho! Ho! Ho! Can't believe it's almost Christmas and just 10 months to
#TDWG18.
Are you going to SPNHC 2017 in Denver from June 21-22? Or the joint
TDWG-SPNHC 2018 meeting? Then, please give SPNHC 2017 organizers the
best Christmas and New Year's present ever - the gift of your abstract.
Certainly, the SPNHC community benefit immensely from TDWG member
efforts, and the TDWG community, in turn, needs input and collaboration
from the collections community. What can we as TDWG members share and
start now, at SPNHC 2017, that we can continue at the joint 2018
meeting? What's been learned this year at #TDWG16 that's critical and
exciting to share with the SPNHC peeps? What groups at TDWG are working
on issues directly related to collections digitization, data quality,
data mobilization, and innovative collections data use? Which TDWG
members are also SPNHC members - who can help foster collaboration and
tighter integration between the two organizations? Got ideas? Got software?
SPNHC 2017 organizers have very eager elves who have requested to see
your abstracts by January 13th. The theme is: "The Next Generation in
Best Practices."
