        agenda is still in progress, this year’s conference will

          session focused on data quality issues and solutions organized
          by leaders from the world’s major aggregators, including GBIF,
          iDigBio, ALA, and CRIA,</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"></span></li>
      <li><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">a
          4-part series comparing and contrasting leading collections
          and data management systems (Arctos, Emu, Specify, and
          Symbiota) with time for your questions, and</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"></span></li>
      <li><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">several
          lightning rounds featuring digitization tools and techniques.</span></li>
    </ul>
    <p style="font-family:"Times New Roman"; font-size:medium"><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">Also included
        will be extended sessions on</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"><br>

          workflows using Symbiota software,</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"></span></li>
      <li><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">issues
          related to the Digital Extended Specimen,</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"></span></li>
      <li><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">methods
          dealing with biocultural issues and the use of Traditional
          Knowledge (TK) labels,</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"></span></li>
      <li><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">an
          exploration of digitization sustainability strategies at the
          institutional level,</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"></span></li>
      <li><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">consideration
          of current collaborations between GBIF, ALA, and iDigBio for
          aligning pipelines benefiting data mobilization, and</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"></span></li>
      <li><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">reports
          from major digitization projects funded by the U.S National
          Science Foundation.</span></li>
    </ul>
    <p style="font-family:"Times New Roman"; font-size:medium"><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif"><b>Lightning
          Talk Space is Limited: </b></span></p>
    <p style="font-family:"Times New Roman"; font-size:medium"><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">We have issued
        an open call for 10-minute lightning round talks focused on
        novel or successful digitization techniques, data mobilization
        strategies, tools, protocols, workflows, and the like. These
        rounds are filling fast. </span></p>
